Hostel Information
Check-in
Check-in starts at 14.00 EEST and ends at 22.00 EEST. If you wish to extend you need to do so before 11.00, outherwise check-out is at 12.00 You can also book a late check-out for 15 BGN that allows you to use the room until 14.00
Parking
We are pleased to offer parking on the street for our guests. Please note that parking is only allowed in the blue zone. Parking regulations are enforced from Monday to Saturday, from 08.30 to 20.30. During these hours, parking is limited to a maximum of two hours at the time. After 20.30, parking is free until 08.30 the following day.
To pay for parking, you can send an SMS with your license plate number to the number 1302. The cost of the parking is 2 BGN per hour, and you can pay for a maximum of two hours at a time. After the two hours have passed, you will need to send a new SMS. Please be aware that exceeding the two-hour limit may result in a parking ticket.

Tuesdays
Enjoy a delightful treat every Tuesday morning with our Free Waffle Brunch! From 09:00 to 11:00, we’ll be serving freshly made waffles, topped with your choice of delicious toppings.
Whether you prefer a generous dollop of whipped cream, a spoonful of sweet jam, or a combination of all two, the choice is yours.
Join us every Tuesday morning for a delightful social gathering around the waffle station!
Wednesdays
Join us for an exciting cooking class led by a professional chef! This is an incredible opportunity to observe and learn from the expert as they showcase their culinary skills and prepare delicious dishes right before your eyes.
Please note that there are limited spots available, with a maximum of 15 participants, so make sure to secure your spot in advance.
During the cooking class, you will have the chance to closely watch the chef’s techniques and methods. They will demonstrate each step of the cooking process, sharing valuable tips and insights along the way. It’s a unique opportunity to gain inspiration and expand your culinary knowledge.
The cost for the cooking class is the symbolic sum of 10 BGN per person, which includes the opportunity to observe the chef’s demonstration and learn from their expertise. At the end of the cooking class, all 15 participants will have the pleasure of sitting down together to enjoy the mouthwatering dishes prepared by the chef.
Each cooking class will focus on a specific cuisine. From authentic Italian dishes to trendy Korean street food
Thursdays
Join us every Thursday for our exhibiting Latino Dance, where you can unleash your inner dancer and groove to the vibrant rhythms of Latin music!
Get ready to put on your dancing shoes and immerse yourself in the captivating world of Latin dance. Our talented instructor will guide you through a series of steps and movements, creating an enjoyable experience for dancers of all levels.
Whether you’re a seasoned dancer or a beginner taking your first steps, this event welcomes everyone. You don’t need a partner, so feel free to come alone or bring along friends for a fantastic evening of dance and laughter.

Fridays
Join us every Friday night from 21:30 to 23:00 for live musict! Get ready to groove to the tunes of live music from various artists performing your favorite cover songs. The atmosphere will be buzzing with excitement and great music.
To make the evening even more enjoyable, we’ll have beer, wine and snacks available for purchase. Sip on your favorite drink as you soak in the vibrant ambiance and dance the night away. It’s the perfect way to kickstart your weekend!
Sundays
Join our weekly Instagram competition, we will announce a new winner every Sunday. With a chance to win a Free night voucher at our hostel (valid for 12 months)

Getting to Blabla Hostel
From the Airport
If you’re flying into the city, the most convenient option is to take the yellow metro line from the airport to Serdika Metro Station. From there, it’s just a short 10-minute walk to the hostel. A metro ticket costs 1.60 BGN (0.80 EUR) and is valid for 30 minutes.
From the Bus Station
For those arriving by bus, BlaBla Hostel is a 20-minute walk from the bus stop. Alternatively, you can take the blue metro line M2 towards Vitosha to Station Serdika II. From there, it’s just a short 10-minute walk to the hostel.
From the Train Station
The train station is located just 3 minutes away from the bus station, and you can follow the same directions. You have two options: either take a walk to the hostel by crossing Lion Bridge, or utilize the metro system.
With a Taxi
A taxi from the airport should cost around 15-20 BGN (8-10 EUR) and take approximately 20 minutes. From the bus or train station, it's a 10-minute ride and should cost around 10 BGN (5 EUR).
Outside Sofia Airport, you will find plenty of taxis available, and we recommend using Taxi OK (ensure that it displays "OK 9732121" to avoid fake taxis). You can also contact them at

Banicharnitsa, a quaint and cozy bakery tucked away in a charming corner, just across the street from your hostel.. As you approach, you’ll notice a small window where you can easily place your order. Indulge in the authentic flavors of traditional Bulgarian breakfast as you sample our delightful Milinka and savor the flaky goodness of Banitsa. Each pastry is lovingly handcrafted with time-honored recipes, ensuring a taste that transports you to the heart of Bulgaria.

Conveniently located just 5 minutes away from our hostel, you’ll find a Lidl store ready to cater to all your needs, located in the red building behind the hot fountains

Lost and found
At BlaBla Hostel, we understand that sometimes belongings can be misplaced or left behind during travels. We want to assure you that if you happen to forget or lose something during your stay with us, we have a dedicated lost and found service to assist you.
If you realize that you have left something behind, please don’t worry. We keep lost items securely stored for a period of 7 days. Our staff diligently catalog and organize any misplaced belongings to ensure their safekeeping.
To reclaim your lost item, kindly reach out to us as soon as possible. You can contact our reception desk or send us an email with a detailed description of the item you’ve lost. We’ll make every effort to locate and return your belongings to you promptly.
If you are no longer in Sofia but would like to have your item shipped back to you, we can arrange a shipping service for your convenience. Please note that shipping costs will be the responsibility of the owner of the lost item.
Alternatively, if you’re planning to return to Sofia in the near future, we can securely hold your lost item until your next visit. Just let us know when you plan to pick it up, and we’ll ensure that it is safely stored for your arrival.
At our hostel, your comfort and satisfaction are our top priorities. Our dedicated team is here to assist you with any lost and found inquiries or arrangements you may need. We understand the importance of your personal belongings and will do our utmost to reunite you with your items.
